Caleb Travino

Head Instructor:

Muay-Thai Level 5, Boxing level 3, Self – Defense /
Haganah - Combative Tactics Level 2.

Caleb started training in Muay-Thai Boxing while in the Military (Air Force) with Thai officers of The Royal Thai Air Force who stirred interest and a desire to learn the art. Caleb resided in Amsterdam and trained in the sport of Muay-Thai at the Mejiro Gym. Muay-Thai, being very popular in Holland, was an excellent environment to learn, study, and fight. Later, he spent time in San Francisco and continued training at a Muay-Thai Boxing School where they had a competitive Thai boxing team.

While in San Francisco, he trained at the Ralph Gracie Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu school. Caleb is registered as a USA Boxing Coach and certified by National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA).

Caleb has competed in Pro and Amateur Thai Boxing and American Boxing matches in Amsterdam and in San Francisco. He has been professionally trained in Muay Thai, Haganah (Self-Defense Applications & Tactics), and in Boxing. Boxing and Muay-Thai are his training specialties, he instructs non-competitors (public), amateurs and professional fighters. He also conducts Self-Defense workshops; Women, Men and the Traveling Professional, as well as other special groups.


Shane DeZee

Instructor: Submission Grappling, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, MMA

Shane has about 25 years of wrestling experience. And 5 years teaching experience. Shane has also training in Judo, Sambo, and 6 years Jiu-Jitsu. Some of his competitive stats is as follows:

Pro MMA record: 10-4

6-Time Toughman Champion

3-Time Freestyle All American

2-Time Wisconsin State Wrestling Entrant

Jeff Doyle has trained with many UFC Veterans and Champions and, has learned from sources all over the world.  He specializes in Jiu-Jitsu and the lost art of Catch Wrestling.

Raul “The Matador” Gracia is the 1995 national amateur boxing champion, and held various Minnesota state Silver Gloves, upper midwest Golden Gloves, Junior Olympic and USA Boxing titles throughout six consecutive years.  The Puerto Rican-born southpaw represented the United States on the U.S. Team in the 1996 Pan Am Games and other international competitions.   Gracia joins Gorilla Combat with an impressive amateur record of 115-10, and a professional record of 6-1.
